04/03/02 "I heard from friends of Fishman’s girlfriend Briar that fall tour is going to be tough because Trey is planning on opening a music school in Vermont. They did have their meeting in the fall and decided that they will work on getting together for a new years run. I am not sure how solid those plans are today."

03/26/02 "My cousin works at phish's management company. He let me in on a little secret. The boys are definitely playing some type of dates in the fall in the U.S. The anticipated event though will be New Years at the Spectrum in Philly!! Hope it's true."

03/25/02 "Overheard in NYC: booking agency for Phish denies Madison Square Garden shows in fall. One member of phish was present and made joking mention of another wedding show appearance. "Tell everyone we are now a wedding band" said the Phish band member. Good friend of Trey Anastasio's Andree Floatier is to be wed in vegas saturday June 1st."

03/12/02 "Phish will not return in the fall. Both Trey Band and Vida Blue will do their own fall tours. While it was being worked out that Phish would return this fall it was decided by the band members that it would be best to continue their own projects until they all come up with a plan to further the music of Phish in the best possible way creatively and artistically. This has been leaked by band management and the good ole' folks in Burlington, Vermont"

02/26/02 "Phish will return and they are 100 pecent likely to return in the fall as they will play at least a small engagement at Madison Square Garden with at least 4 shows booked in October. This has been confirmed by MSG talent booking and open dates in MSG's calendar. As for a complete tour list, check Phish.com sometimes after the Simpsons episode airs."

02/25/02 "Skiing in VT, you run into to some great people...among them, a person well established in Dionysian Productions who wishes to remain anonymous. He/she verified that since playing together in Boston, and being on stage "almost" together at Roseland Ballroom, the rock and roll band Phish have decided to go on tour this fall. The source revealed that at least some of the rumors regarding dates and venues are true. They will cease using ticketmaster as a point of sale and rely solely on mail/web order and local outlets."
