07/19/02  "Phish will return summer '03. It will not be a full tour as we know tour. They will do a 5-festival run spanning the country over a period of about a month. It will most likely be west-to-east.

Trey has reserved the 30th and 31st of Dec [2002] at MSG tentitivley for Phish, but its doubtful that it will happen. Look for maybe the Trey Band."

[note: a few people have notified Walfredo that there is a Knicks game scheduled for the 30th of December.]

06/06/02  " I heard that the much anticipated Phish reunion could possibly happen in Camden NJ 06/21/02 or Merriweather 6/22/02 during the Trey Tour. With a huge portion of "Jam Nation" at Bonnaroo this will leave these two Trey dates WIDE OPEN for such an event. With or without a reunion these two shows promise to be something special !!!"

05/09/02  "I heard that Trey, Mike, and John are all ready to put together a new years show (possibly 2 nights in philly two nights in boston) but that page is on the fence regarding this. As you read all the recent Trey interview youll notice that hes talking about phish like he is over the hump and ready to start playin again. Hes ready for that feelin that only phish can create. Keep your fingers crossed that page will come around."

04/16/02  "I have gotten info from a good source that the rest of the band will join Trey when he plays in Essex Jct, VT this summer....I hope it's true!"

04/16/02  "No Phish till at least Spring 2003..... They've decided to put things off for another year after meeting for the next additions of the Live Series to debut in November 2002. This has been confirmed by band management. Watch Trey on Later with Carson Daly the day after the Bonnaroo for a little insight into the future of Phish.

04/11/02  ">Regarding the musical production of Gamehenge, I am challenging Justin Martello's theory because I would imagine that these shows at whichever broadway theater would have an admission fee. Trey has publicly expressed his opposition of performing Gamehenge for financial gain. It would be nice, but a rumor I must say. Speaking of rumors, that Simpson's episode could have been a WHOLE lot better.

04/03/02  "3/29/02 - Phish's comeback will not occur this year. In fact, no concert is planned at all. The band's glorious comeback will take place in the stage production of Gamehendge, with of course Phish along with a full orchestra and horns accompanying. Early projections place a run on Broadway begining next Spring. Look for numerous Gamehendge clues on the upcoming episode of The Simpson's."

          --sent to walfredo by JM

03/20/02  "All 4 members of Phish will be present on the final day of the Bonnaroo festival. As Trey headlines the final night you might want to expect something "magical" to happen late in the set."

          --sent to walfredo by pacoman

03/19/02  "I have learned from a reliable source that Phish has signed a 3 year deal to play at a certain festival to be held each year... The festival is the Bonarroo festival. Watch out for phish to announce their participation in Bonarroo on the Simpsons April 7...."

03/07/02  "Phish will not return in the Fall of this year. Solo projects such as Trey Anastasio and Vida Blue will continue, but no future plans for phish are in order."

"Rumor as of January 21st of 2002 of fish being to be rumor between the fish
fan, there is a possibility of modification of course, " The OK, coming from
the source which can be trusted sporadically, the '. Concerning this rumor
of everyone however you think, you have known, there is an additional
detail. The fish this fall has reserved 13 days in the Madison * square *
garden. The ' lever it seems from last week of September to the October
middle. When (dead used the MSG, almost the same.) Therefore he and the like
does not limit show does with really. He and the like does, if it is, the
meeting place just is reserved with the story which is said. According to
this source, show is really done, if it is, it is wrong to be that time,
improbable. Tour releasing. When the MSG and, it does perhaps, some time
just you do in the yeast coast. You have reserved, however it seems, you
think even in Boston no day whether it is not the for fjf...[fCf"[fY. As
for the fish every year reservation for the fjf...[fCf"[fY is taken to
2004. But as for this being something which estimate omits rather before, at
present time completely there is no meaning.

03/04/02  "Not to accuse, but I've seen Far Hills Polo Grounds (I'm relatively sure it's where they have a steeple chase every year) And while it's almost big enough for a Phish show, I seriously doubt the town of Far Hills (a wealthy countryside suburb) would consider bringing an event of that size to a field that is pretty much right in the town. The perimeter would be almost impossible to patrol, there is no stage set up yet and so catering the event would be extremely expensive, and most importantly, it is one of the most conservative towns in the area. If the rumor about the show there turns out to be true, I will be very, very, very surprised."

03/04/02  "My father works for the Far Hills Polo Grounds committee in Far Hills, NJ. This weekend when I was home for school he asked me if I was still a fan of the rock group Phish, since he knows I go to a fair amount of their shows. I told him yes, and he told me that representatives from the band are trying to use the enormous field at the Polo Grounds to stage a concert as a stop on a tour this August. My father is president of the committee and told me that it will be approved since it will be a good money maker and the town can handle the traffic/parking. So I guess this means that Phish will be touring this August and will be stopping in Far Hills, NJ."

NO PHISH TILL SUMMER 2003--SO IT GOES "

01/31/02  "As of now Phish has been holding internal meeting on if and when they will return.... There has been much pressure put on them by concert promotions teams (Concerts East etc...) to return this fall. While they have yet to make a determination when and if they will come back it appears more and more likely that the boyz will be back this fall because of the high demand and the slow concert industry. Don't expect any stadium shows or extremely large venues since the guys would like to remain arena size at best when touring. This comes from a reliable source withing the band (Paluska, Sands, Carini, and notable Vermont Folk) It all depends on how the boyz feel about their spring tour-Trey,Page.... and how much it actually means to them.... NO PROMISES but might it be callled the HEALING TOUR 2002"

          --sent to walfredo by pacomon

01/30/02  "phish will be marking their return to the rock and roll world by breaking the record of shows at Madison Square Garden and starting their fall tour with 14 shows over 3 weeks at the fabled arena.
...may icculus have mercy on our souls.

the dates are currently "penciled in," so don't go buying your plane tickets just yet. none of this surprises me as phish never ceases to push the envelope of debauchery and oneupsmanship."

--sent to walfredo by al dante

01/22/02  "Phish will return in the fall, by mid September. They are currently working on a schedule that will allow them to do their usual fall venues in the past. After fall tour, they will most likely due a short winter tour and holiday dates which are yet to be determined but Madison Square Garden in NYC, Spectrum in Philly, and the Fleet Center in Boston as venues that want to play(and are currently open). This ties into the Concerts East promotions I've been linked to on past updates."

01/22/02  "According to my source(an MSG insider)....phish is slated to play a 4-night run at MSG starting on Oct. 6, 2002."

01/22/02  "Phish will indeed end the hiatus officially when they appear on the Simpsons. They will officially say they are going to tour again and dates will be announced on Phish.com shortly after [the episode is aired]. Mike and Fishman have been leaking this to local Burlington folk and word has spread fast....."

01/21/02  "A reliable source I know is in good terms with the booking guy at MSG and told him that he made a deal with phish's managment for October 31st, 2002."

01/21/02  "I heard the same rumor as 01/16/02 t-shits. My friend is ordered the design from DryGoods. I heard it will spring or summer tour."

01/16/02  "I have a very reliable friend who works at a clothing manufacturing company who says his company is currently printing Phish Fall 2002 t-shirts. But who knows? "

01/15/02  "the guy who posted is very misinformed about the Phish shows.... they will indeed return but it will be late September, Fall 2002 and it will include favorite Phish venues.... Concerts East, the promoter of most large tours in the USA, has this on their big concert update list in all their local offices in NYC. So yes, Phish will indeed return to play in the fall and the NYE shows will be on the East Coast with likely dates for MSG for 31 and 30 plus the Mass. area for 28th and 29th."

          --sent to walfredo by pacoman

01/14/02  "The information on your rumor page and the logistics of the next phish tour are false. Phish WILL return and play an east coast tour for the last 3 weeks of November next fall. They will follow with a 4 night new years run. 2 shows in worcester, 2 at MSG. I am a legit source [and] have always posted the right stuff [on RMP]. Thanks."

12/04/01  "Phish will be back Fall 2002 (September) starting with West Coast Dates and finishing back east (mid October). The NYE run will be 2 nights in Boston and 2 in NYC at MSG. This has been mentioned by those who work for Concerts East , the largest concert promoter in the USA......."

10/31/01  "Here's some real info for your rumor page.

There will be no Phish shows before the earliest possiblitiy which will be next fall.

Trey will tour with Trey Band in the spring to support the release of the new album.

There may be a new Oysterhead album next summer and a tour--maybe."
