05-10-05 "Couple of things were worked out this weekend.
1. This will be announced in late June with tickets going on sale in mid July.
2. The music will be in one location - Sam Boyd Silver Bowl and the soccer fields surrounding. Approx 10 acres.
3. Confirmed acts: WSP, DMB, Trey, Phil Lesh(not the Dead), and Pearl Jam. The Pearl Jam folks where here on Saturday to work out the last minute details and everything went smooth.
4. The name is of the event is Vegoose(sp) Music Festival. This is not confirmed, but the leading candidate right now.
Things are moving more quickly now and I should have all the whole line up shortly. I am not sure who is closing this festival; that is one of the reasons that the Pearl Jam people were in town. I don't have a ton of info on that right now."
04-19-05 "I have a source inside the Thomas and Mack center that is telling me something is brewing in Vegas on and leading up to Halloween. There is a new festival coming to Las Vegas during Halloween. This is a production being put on by superfly, UNLV Tickets, and Las Vegas Events. It will be based on Jazzfest format with many bands playing many venues. The bands that I know for sure are DMB, Widespread, Trey, and Cheese. The final days shows will take place @ Sam Boyd Stadium."

04-19-05 "Disney has been negotiating with Elektra and Trey to get the rights for
"Prince Caspian" for their upcoming adaptation of "The Chronicles of
Narnia". The first movie, "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe" is set to
be released this December."

03-29-05 "Rumor has it that Jon Fishman is in talks with VH1 to be part of the 6th
season of The Surreal Life, to film this fall and premiere next summer."

02-01-05 "Trey has been in Nashville working on his new record and hanging with Robert
Randolph all week.
He has been spotted at Ocean Way Studios, The Ryman, Station Inn, The
Boundry, and Bar 23 all in the last week. He has overseen some sessions with
Nashville Chamber Orch. and worked on two new tracks, one with Randolph.
I heard he worked with Jerry Douglas on a new track, but can't confirm that. I have seen him personally at several of those places I mentioned, so it's
not bullsh*t. He looks pretty good too, better than this summer.
Also, Trey is playing the Ryman with both his 10 piece band (new bass player
and drummer since last lineup) and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra sometime
in March/April. I heard April 14, but can't confirm date."
